As the demand for electric vehicles and sustainable technologies grows, the need for advanced test and verification methods for electric powertrains becomes increasingly important. This presentation explores trends in e-powertrain development and the related testing requirements. A key topic is the integration of model-based development and testing. Additional focus will be given to challenging topics, such as energy efficiency, NVH, durability and EMC – and how we can handle these.
In this presentation, you will get:
After completing a PhD in computational electromagnetics at Chalmers University of Technology 2004, he started working with electrical machines R&D at ABB Corporate Research, Sweden. From 2012 to 2019, he was with Volvo Group Trucks Technology, where he was appointed specialist in electric traction and electromagnetism. 2019-21 he worked with electric drive hardware systems development at Polestar, and 2022-2023 he held a position as an electric drive hardware expert at Infimotion Technology Europe. At the end of 2023, he joined SEEL, Swedish Electric Transport Laboratory, working with research and methods for electric powertrain development and verification.
The Pop in Your Job:
I love “optimisation” – when we improve our lives, our world, our existence. Especially when we do this together, and the sense of community this brings.
I also have a passion for understanding and modeling physics – especially when it can help us improve our world in some way.
At SEEL we have the possibility to collaborate with academia and industry and build common new knowledge.
