Dr. James Edmondson is a Principal Technology Analyst at IDTechEx. He studied for his BSc MPhys in Physics at the University of Warwick, then went on to study for his MSc PhD in Analytical Science also at the University of Warwick. With IDTechEx James has focused on the electric vehicle markets, primarily considering the technology around batteries, motors, and power electronics and their associated thermal management and materials. James has completed market reports on thermal management and fire protection, materials and components for electric vehicles. He has also carried out extensive company interviews, articles, event presentations, and bespoke consultancy projects in these areas.
